I have calves between 3-5 months old, just wondering what people think is the best way to worm them, in the past I always used a white drench, such as Albex or Endospec and then ectospec Pour On for flies. I was recommended in Glanbia to use a pour-on wormer called Mastermectin that also cover flies as it was far handier to use and there would also be a cost saving here. I’m just not sure that I’m getting the same level of protection from the worms especially in the young calves. Ill also be doing older cattle with the same pour-on, maybe its ok for these..

I usually use an injection like bimection for calves as its fastest and they won't have fluke
Usually just have lung worms and you would know by the coughing

Pour on will be fine for worms - work away. Won't work for flies like the ectospec would be wouldn't worry bout that.
