It's paid with your weekly payment whenever that is.

My daughter checked her bank account last Friday night and it was there. So I'd think most people should have it this week.

Is there any way of checking if I'm being automatically paid?

If your payment is automatic so is the allowance usually.

You would have received a letter by now informing you that you automatically qualified for the payment. If you haven't received a letter then you'll need to apply.

The letters were sent out the first week of June if you haven't got one you need to apply.

I got a text on 28 July to say they'd received my application but nothing since.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a decision, I forget how long it took last year.

They received my application on July 28th and I noticed the money in my bank yesterday.

I applied for two kids but only got money for one, I had heard nothing from them to say my application was approved so I emailed them yesterday to check the money was from them and if so why didn't I get payment for the second child. He's 18 and in college , criteria for that age says 18-22 and attending full time second level education or college.
They said his college course is post leaving cert so does not qualify, it's only for secondary school. I'm so disappointed as I was sure I'd get it because it says college and the age is 22, what 22 yr old is still in secondary school ?

I'm still waiting for mine ... and my 19 year old daughter is going back to do her leaving cert but it's in a collage probably won't get it for her so
