damage to worktop

    Managed to do a bit of damage to kitchen worktop.
    Any good way to patch this up?

    It's a tricky one, nigh impossible to do an invisible repair I'd say, best bet is to repair it so as to prevent any moisture getting to the particle board core. Get some two-part epoxy (Araldite or similar), mix it up and apply to the area (you can mask of the surrounding area if you want to minimise clean up). When cured file or sand the repair area to match the rounded profile, using a very fine wet and dry paper with water as a lubricant. Whatever route you go do it soon and avoid any moisture getting at the exposed core as it will wick up an water and expand....
