Backed into a low wall this morning and scuffed the corner of my bumper. :(

It's not massive but I'm going to see it every time I look at the car. Have two quotes so far of €180 to respray the corner of the bumper.

    Any thoughts on other options?

    That's normal wear&tear of a bumper...

My opinion, although controversial on this forum, it to buy around 75 bottles of beer instead and use it to ease your pain...

Haven't used these guys but they are on my list to check out at some stage :)

    And there's these guys too...

I'm considering getting my 9 year old car done up, with wheel refurb, dent removal and paint correction. Or I could just wait and get a new one in a year or two. Or both...

Get some touchup paint from the main dealer, clean the area down, and fill in as per instructions. Won't be flush, but won't draw the eye either. At least it's on a plastic part, so no danger of rust.

I used dentpro the other day for the first time, though it was paintless repair. Uploaded a photo to their iOS app, they send a quote back through the app. Called and got it booked, less than 24hrs later it was finished and it's flawless. It was €150 for 3 hrs work, in my own front garden. Most other places quoted €300+ and said paintless wouldn't work so would be 3 days off the road.

I know your repair is different, but can't recommend these guys enough.

Something like this? Might go with that. Have some mechanical bits that I'd prefer to spend the money on at the moment.

I was looking around for touchup paint the other day and came across this http://www.chipex.co.uk

It's touchup paint, but rather oddly you just apply it in a big blob, and then smear it with your finger (!). Let it dry for 10 mins and then wipe gently with a special "blending solution". No idea if it works,a nd it is a bit more expensive, but if it does the end result might look better than standard touchup paints.

I bought the halfords stuff before, and later, the ford stuff. Ford seemed to go on better. Price it from the manufacturer, see if it's not too expensive.
