imagine Ireland

    So I got approved for my Holiday from work and with Mrs Toxicity234 due in 4 months she stated that she was getting on a plane and to look to a holiday home in Ireland and somewhere where we could bring the Dog.

    Grand i go on the Imagine Ireland website do a search and find a nice place in the glenties.

    a good spot and not bad on the price i was happy out.
    E-mail to make sure it was available and dog friendly.
    Imagine Ireland Rang be back but missed the call and i rang them back.
    They said yeah, No problem. Booked everything over the call gave CC details and everything.

    So Monday morning had a call from Imagine Ireland.
    Sorry the owner rang to say that they wanted the housing for themselves for that week.
    Not happy but it happens.
    So I asked if they could have a look for anything along the West coast.
    They ok no problem anything to help.

    So a few days go by. I get a call from Imagine. They said yeah we found another house. Around the same area.
    I was happy out.
    They said they send it on in an e-mail to myself about 80 euro more but it only 80 euro I didn't care.
    Open the E-mail and guess what.

    Not impressed with this at all. Contact Imagine and pointed out they just offered my the same house that they cancelled on me but for an increased price.
    The reply was:
    "Sorry I wasn't aware of that. Please let me know if you need any further assistance."

    So does anyone know a good site of a holiday home at the last mins?
    Cause I'm not using these again.

    find the place you want to stay through the likes of imagine Ireland etc .. and then contact the place directly .. always works out better and usually the owners are happier to deal outside of the commission sites and when you are bringing a dog you can get a better idea of the facilities, garden etc from the owner rather than the marketing site.

    Have you looked up Renvlye in Galway we did a dog weekend in June - its was BRILLIANT!!!!
