Hi, I have been at home for 6 years. My youngest is now starting school so I am looking at going back to work. I am keen to do a Springboard course to update my pharma skills but I am not in receipt of any government payment. Am I as well off diving into job seeking or is there a way of getting on these courses without being on a government payout. Thanks in advance

I think you have to pay for the Springboard course yourself if not receiving Social welfare/job seekers allowance. Maybe try applying for jobs and see how you get on. You might still be entitled to job seekers allowance and be on a springboard course without paying for it. Check it out with your local SW department.
