    Hi there,

Looking at getting eir vision tv for a family member to replace sky.

He lives alone and currently has sky and can watch it (in addition to main room where box is) in the kitchen and bedroom via rf2 output on the sky box for no extra charge.

He can only watch same channel on all three tvs but this is fine for his needs.
ie This is not multi room.
He is not paying anything extra to watch the channels on the 2nd and 3rd tv.

Do you have anything similar to this?
Ie the option to watch the same channel on other tvs without an extra charge?

    Thanks.

One of these will allow the eir box to be used with the existing tv distribution system he has.

    Thanks.
Does the eir box have scart?
(also looking at vodafone tv and got the idea there from another poster of scart to video unit and then rf2 to existing system)

It doesn't have a scart port on the box, but a scart adaptor cable comes separate, ask the installer.

    Hi  frankz,

We have an option available at the minute however there is a €5 charge for each multi room box, you can read more on this here http://support.eir.ie/article/Add_Multiroom

    Hi Pamela.

Thanks for that and for getting back to me.

Ya I had seen multiroom and as mentioned in the first post what I was after was an alternative to multiroom.

No point in him paying two multi room subs when there is only himself to watch it!!!  :-)

So there is no official recommended way to distribute the same channel (ie not multiroom) to other tvs?
