    Nissan (Renault) 2.0 dci engine

After switching off there is a low beeping/screeching sound coming from the front of the car ...closer investigation reveals is this part that's humming in high frequency ...it stops after a minute or two

Is this some sort of valve/solenoid that's about to go south on me or is this beeping noise normal?

The whirring is probably the coolant pump continuing to circulate coolant around the turbo for a period after the engine has been shut off.

Naahh ..the noise seems to come from the throttle body (thanks!) itself.
Tapping on it / touching it changes the noise.

Other people (with different engines) seem to have the same issue.

It's not an issue. It's normal behaviour.

Yeah well ...I'm from the purely mechanical age where cars just used to shut up when you turn the key off :D
