What size cable?

    Running a cable to power a shed ~70m from meter. What size cable would be best?

    Not a lot going to be used in the shed.

    Electrician said 16mm would be best but do i really need a cable that large?

    yeah that's what he said :D. just penny pinching i suppose.
    Where is the cheapest place to get it ?. Is there good value to be found buying in the UK ?

    You could try Hegarty Lighting in Clonakilty.
    Best if you know a sparks who would buy it wholesale for you.
