i have just bought a small holding and along with my father in law need to buy some farm machinery. I need a tractor that can deal with baled silage , a mower/topper , a sprayer and a fertiliser spreader. my max budget in total is 25k. Any suggestions?

How big small is a small holding ha!:D

I'd say all you need is a tractor to feed silage with dung fork and bucket and maybe bale handler.
    Topper
    Fertiliser spreader
    Roller
    Tipping trailer

Get contractor to cut silage/hay and bale.
    Contractor to spray.

Easy enough after that to tidy up with knapsack sprayer.

You should have a good choice of 9yr old plus tractor,s with a €25k budget, what have you been looking at is probably the best way to answer your question?
