Looking to start an original band in Dublin

Hi,

Songwriter and musician (I play guitar,sing and keyboard). I have a bunch of songs written and I'm keen to start a decent band project that seeks to be original and ambitious.

I have wide influences and eager to play with other musicians with wide influences across the arts.

Would like to meet a drummer and bassist but definitely up for meeting any musician with similar ambitions.

I'm based in south Dublin and looking for musicians based in the Dublin area.

Hi Graham,

I'm influenced by a lot of singer songwriters (Dylan, Cohen, Nick Drake), classical guitar styles, Latin Jazz (bossa nova stuff), down tempo/thoughtful electronic music like massive attack, faithless, roisin Murphy, classic soul like Marvin Gaye. I like the idea of music with a good groove; good solid base line, with a decent lyric on top.

Interesting array of artists all of whom are in my collection. Personally David Sylvian, Scott Walker to Radiohead, Lamb and Sigur Ros are top of my play list. Do you have a drummer and (if you don't mind me asking, what age are you?
