    I have one of the above for sale .

    1979 2 WD good back tyres, starts on the button. Lights working, brakes only middling

    I wouldn,t sell at all only Junior started farming recently and it is not safe with poor brakes

    What is the tractor worth

    Probably worth enough to get the brakes done. I think the parts would only be maybe a couple of hundred. Add in the labour and I'd say 1k will leave you change.
    If you sell it I presume you'll have to replace it and it'll cost you more than the ccost of the brakes for something maybe no better.

    i have another bought

    a mf 290

    I figured if I got the brakes done they would have to be redone in 2 years time as they continously seem to be a problem
