Looking through some of the forums and the amount of quite frankly ridiculous and plain stupid posts on here is amazing. I ask this question because i do notice some pretty damn immature and crass posts.

I genuinely find the level of discussion to be of a high standard. You only have to look elsewhere on the Internet to find the obnoxious and face palm forums to realize that. Even so still got some people posting some absolute twaddle.

Silly and crazy not so bad, but those who stumble into a forum and post an entirely unconnected to the forum question make me think what the actual f…. The "why doesn't my TV work" or whatever in Feedback or where ever. It makes me question the idea of democracy, knowing fools like that are about. Some people are just as dumb as rocks. Nature of things really.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Yeah okay:( certainly the case that some brands of debate don't breed civility.

I do hate when someone asks a question that would be easier to google. Or someone unavoidably famous is discussed, like Bono or Elvis and the next question is who's Bono?

    It's the way it's presented.

    As George Carlin said:

"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."
