They have sexed KEZ - Capone, FTY - Lennon Frosty, SA2200 - Druide (expensive), plus I think a few sexed BB bulls....

see what your saying regarding druide, 65 euro for sexed semen.

out of interest, does sexed semen much lower conception rates?

Based on that Trial they ran a few years ago, about 7% less than normal. Really for heifers only, for most herds.

How much are the Capone straws?

from my experienece conception was poor. off the top of my head ai'd 9 heifers with sexed last year only 4 kept. would usually get 80+% heifers keeping to first serve.hard enough catch sucklers bulling without added risk with straws

Used sexed on dairy cows and was very happy with conception rates

Think that for Dovea the service with beef sexed semen twice price of normal service - 55 as opposed to 27. Which bulls they can use must depend on the fertility of the bull - as some of those with sexed semen available wouldn't be first choice for replacements - like EBY.

i notice that actually & was wondering why most of the options with sexed semen seem to be poor on replacement traits
