Job Title

I’m going updating my LinkedIn profile, strangely I’ve never included my day job on my profile, that has always focused on what I do on the side.

I’m currently working in the family manufacturing business just over 10 years, in that time a lot has changed, changed from mainly B2B to B2B & B2C and I have taken responsibility for implementing a lot of those changes, websites, online sales, marketing, advertising, etc.

I don’t know what to put down as job title, my roles include:
Website Administrator, Online Customer Support, Online Sales Processing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Marketing, Photographer, Videographer, Social Media Manager, General in-house tech guy, and probably many more to General Operator.

What would be a good job title to cover all them?

    You could break it down

Worked at "company" from-to date business change manager

    From to media manager

    Etc

    Media Coordinator ?

Something like that might work, might tie in with what is already on the profile.

Might want something broader than that

could do that but would prefer to keep it simpler

If you want to shorten that to C.E.O who would blame you*

The OP would not be a C-level official, but on second thought, I could make a good case for VP of Marketing. http://blog.marketo.com/2007/04/are_you_a_cmo_o.html

Take a look at this and other sample job descriptions. If this closely describes what you are doing, then you should consider it. If your experience and education fall significantly short of that job description, then you should probably call yourself something slightly below that (such as Head of Marketing, Marketing Lead, or similar). http://www.hrvillage.com/hrjobdesc/VPSales-Mktg.htm

yes, i would seriously be lacking there, anyway this is a very small company so don't think I'll be going for VP of Sales or anything like that

Yeah, I typically punch far above my weight in job duties, without having the degree that such duties typically require. It has caused some issues in the past, though the multinational I was working for at the time "grandfathered" me in.
