    And it depends on what you expect and how long you have to kill?

    The escape lounge is grand for a quick drink and a chill. But don't know if I would pay for it unless really needed it's facilities

    Escape seems to be the only one you can pay into
    Have 5 hours to kill would 21 pounds getvme value as to eating normal etc

    It's better than the stress of hanging ol around the airport. Good wifi, comfortable seats, done nice bits of food and couple of drinks. For 5 hrs wait I would deffo pay 21£

    Its grand last time I used it. I looked at wetherspoons menu and decided lounge was cheaper for food!


    Not much of a view tho but food & drinks are all right.

    Well your on the guts of a tenner there anyway, coupled with a messy bar and having to watch your bag or bring it with you every time you move. Sod that. Chill for 5hrs in the lounge

    Ha, I just used the Escape Lounge in Stansted a few weeks ago when on a 6 hour layover and I definitely recommend it as the 3 hour time limit flew by there.
    I found myself a nice comfortable, private corner near the back of the lounge and stretched out while watching films on my iPad with some nice glasses of wine.
    It was heavenly as the main communal seating area in the departures lounge is like a cattle mart and the lounge was quiet and relaxing.
    It is definitely worth the money.
