Insurance company not sending out NCB statement

Is this a thing now? Or is it just because I am with a particularly awful bunch of muppets?

Renewal is due, have gotten text from company but no renewal form or NCB notification in post.

Before anyone says "just ring them up" that is what I am going to have to do but TBH I shouldn't have to, dealt with lots of companies and up to now they have all sent the forms out unprompted.

Main reason I am annoyed is I had to ring this shower a few times before and always spent a ridiculous amount of time on hold waiting for them.

They need to have issued a renewal 22 days before your expiry date and your NCB has to accompany it - that's the rules set out by the CBI. You can report them for a breach

Email them. Give all the necessary details/reference nos and request a reply, with that document attached, by return.

Chill managed to finally get my NCB cert 21 days after my renewal date.
The renewal letter had never arrived although I did get an email three weeks before renewal saying it was delayed. Apparently that gets around the rules on timescale for renewals.

Silver lining... AA were way cheaper than the renewal quote from chill (that never arrived but was quoted over the phone)
