poor RE a credit rating - can a bank possibly block newly set up standing orders coming out of your account due to a poor credit rating issue in the past?

    thnks!

All the bank should care about is that there is enough money in your account each month to fulfil the standing order, your credit rating doesn't come into it. Are you having a problem setting up an SO?

thanks a million for the reply.
i havent tried to set them up in the last year. direct debits, however, were constantly coming back even though i always had more than enough in the bank.
thought it was strange ,cant see how standing orders wouldnt.

None of that has anything to do with your credit rating.
