    I need to replace the "house" batteries on the boat. Any recommendations on where to buy?.

    Is it absolutely necessary to buy marine batteries, are new AGM (gel filled and Stop/Start) car batteries a suitable replacement.

    Speak to David, he shall advise you.

    Car batteries are not suitable as you shall need deep discharge leisure batteries which are totally different. Dont waste money trying to buy cheap batteries, it shall cost you in the long run.

    @Glenalla

    Thanks for that, got a pair from them. Surprised they were less expensive than my last car battery.
