    Hi all,

I did a vacuum test on my petrol Trajet today to try and diagnose sluggish acceleration. (turned out to be a clogged fuel filter)

I connected the gauge to the brake vacuum port on the inlet manifold. I didn't T it, just replaced the brake hose with the vacuum hose.

The reading was a steady 25 ins Hg on the meter at idle. It didn't change when the RPM went to 2000, 3000, or when releasing the throttle at all.

Can this be considered a pass? I was under the impression that there should be some loss and recovery of vacuum after hared acceleration.

    Thanks,

    Ken
