Question are you using a Satellite dish or an aerial? If it is an aerial Freeview can be patchy.

The EU cannot and will not cut off the FTA broadcast of UK tv channels.

UK won't come under AVFW directive and for any countries that have channels directly aimed at them those countries could prevent such broadcasts from OfCom licensed stations.

But Article 50 has to be inacted and even then there is 2 years before the UK leave the EU.

EU/UK to bend signals around Ireland, sound like WWN story.

Irish government should they wish could make it more difficult to get such singals, not suggesting that the would want to try. and really i was talking about Scandinavian countries more so than Ireland.
