Hi all, I can get my hands on a 300bar 12L cylinder. Does it need to be in test for refill for air rifle use. It's a steel tank. Thanks

Ok, so is it a big deal to get tested and who does it? Also, is a test expensive . I'm based in midlands. Thanks

around 30 euro for test if you google air tank testing you can get a list of places and get one near you. the last time i got
one tested was around 8 years ago i sent in by courier . the place where you can get it filled might know or be able to
    get it tested for you.

The cylinder that I can get has a few numbers stamped on it.
    PS232PT342 bar 18.5kg 15L
2008/05. All these numbers are stamped on the cylinder. Also the label indicates that it's in test until Dec
So is this a 232 or 300 bar.
    Any help appreciated

The seller tells me its filled. English is not his first language so doesn't rightly know what bar it is. I'll make a few calls tomorrow.

Turns out its a 232 bar cylinder. The 342 is the test pressure.
