left go .... what to do

    I posted here nearly two months ago about the excitment of being hired only to be left go today for someone with more experience who they have recently hired , will I still be able to use them as a reference ?

    It's "let go"

    And yes, you probably can use them as a reference.

    It's usual to get the contact details of your line manager (phone number and email), and ask hr for a reference letter (depending on the company it may be a simple statement to say you were employed in a particular role)

    Seeing as you mentioned recently about looking for commission after bringing in all those unpaid bills after ringing around, the least they can do for you is give you a decent reference.

    They wrote back though email anyways saying absolutely I could use them as a reference so I guess that's a good thing
