Am I right in thinking that Nightline/Parcel Motels business model is completely in tatters now that there will be customs charges two years down the line?

There won't necessarily be customs charges...it's possible there won't. Depends on what deal the UK does with EU, really.

Way too early to tell. If anybody tells you anything with 100% certainty about Brexit at the moment they are talking bull!

Its in tatters in Sligo already--some genius decided to move it out the Bundoran road and away from a well established site at Pearse rd which was perfect for the city centre as well as surrounding counties. Can't believe that logic or rather the lack of it.

Just received a reply from Parcel Motel as to why they moved :

    Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately we had to move this motel at the request of the premises owner.

The location showing was the closest location available at this time. We are continually looking for new locations and hope to have a motel closer to the original location soon.

Is anyone else having severe problems with the new system in parcel motel? 4 digit pin not working, their new qr code reader not explained, no phone number to contact, only email.
They didn't notify of the change , and the explanation of how it works is pathetically incomplete, when you are standing in the cold and dark trying to get your purchase. They are fast enough telling you the time will expire though :-((
