Hi there, I'm 16, have recently finished school for the year and I'm just looking for something to do for the summer as I have nothing on e.g Holidays or that. Would appreciate if anyone knows anywhere that is hiring teens for summer. I understand most would be taken but I'm just trying you know? I'm in the Westmeath Area. I appreciate all replies. Thanks,
    Jesse.

What county do you live in?

This is best suited to a county/region forum so that will help get you the advice you need.

    Slim chances.

There are loads of college students with retail experience, who are struggling to find work. So unless it's s family member, or a parents friend, you probably won't find a job.

Check out all the other similar posts on this subject. Your best bet is to print your CV, dress well and go into every local chipper, shop and cafe and speak with the manager. Tell everyone you know to keep their ear out for anyone that is hiring.

I'd gladly work as a cleaner since I just want something to do over the summer and get a bit of money.
