    Hi
I recently switched to Sky and got a bundle which included phone and line rental. When I first signed up I made Sky aware that I would be getting internet from a different provider (Magnet). Sky came out and installed a phone line for our new service. Then Magnet came out and set up our new broadband with the phone line Sky put in. When the Magnet technician was setting up the router he said that we could not get internet from Magnet and phone from Sky through the one line. Is this true? And if it is, are there any work arounds for making this happen?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If its LLU, no way. I can't tell you if your exchange is LLU or not.

If its not LLU, then it should be possible, but its also possible Sky/Magnets ops systems can't do it simply because its not something they developed for.

The simplest solution is to have two lines, but I suspect you don't want a double bill. Personally I dont know why anyone would want a POTS line in this day in age unless you have an OAP in the house.

Crap mobile reception comes to mind. Of course a good GSM repeater might sort that.
