Thoughts on this watch on sale - not a classic but an eco-drive

    So window shopping at the weekend, I came across this

    I think it is utterly beautiful, it's on sale, and while I don't need another watch, I'm looking at it as a piece of jewellery that I will love and wear on occasions.

    Any thoughts?

    I've already about ten watches from a 70 year old Bulova to another eco-drive and everything in between.

    I'd do a bit of googling to see what their plating is like - you don't want that rubbing off. Otherwise, go for it if you like it.
    while I don't need another watch

    If you put the model number into Camelcamelcamel, that price seems to be the lowest it's ever been on Amazon.

    If you have 10 other watches then I would hope it wouldn't be worn so often that plate wear would be something to worry about in the short to medium term.
