Bumper scratch touch up advice

    Hi

Went up on a kerb recently and put some minor marks on the underside of the front bumper on one corner. Luckily it's on a part that faces down and is not really noticeable.

I got some touch up paint, and filled in the scratches. It's impossible to keep completely within the scratches so there is some overspill. Now with the position of the scratches it is almost completely unnoticeable unless you are down on the ground looking at them... however, I am tempted to build them up with paint a little more, sand them down, cover them with touch up lacquer and then compound and polish them.

Is this a reasonable plan or should dI leave them alone? Would I be able to polish the OEM lacquer around the scratches back to a shine by hand if it got flattened by the 1500 wet and dry?

    Thanks for advice.
