    Wexford v Offaly
    Westmeath v Limerick
    Clare v Laois
    Cork v Dublin

Fairly straight forward i would think. Nice Accumulator if one was so inclined...

You just might be underestimating Cork playing down Leeside.

I wouldn't write off Cork at home as pretty straightforward for Dublin. They didn't look too hot against Kilkenny themselves!

Both Cork and Dublin are mediocre, at best!

Once again Dublin I suspect will be without the 21s, which is sensible option as they have great chance of winning Leinster and giving Galway a game in the AI semi final.

There is little optimism around Dublin and home advantage for either would be, and will be, decisive I think.

Other games are non events lets face it.

Funny, I remember you giving me stick after Cork-Tipp that Dublin were much better than Cork. Slightly backtracking now? :P :P

If Clare and the winner of Dublin/Cork are separated in the next round I think they will the teams who qualify for the quarters .

Wexford can't play Dublin so if they both win in round 1 they will be separated

GC seems to have same plan for Dublin. If it works great, if not, then in for some mother and father of a hiding.

On match today. Cork were dreadful. Tipp half backs cleaned them out of it. Attempted to start fight after five minutes then left with their tails between their legs...

This is only comment on made on the Tipp/Cork game Figsy old chap!. How you make that was me saying Dublin are much better than Cork is beyond me!

Nah it was the Cork thread. I said Cork, Limerick and Dublin are all similar levels and you said Dublin were far ahead. I'm on my phone but it's page 675 of that thread. I'm only ribbing you though. :P

If both teams are at it there won't be much between them. Home advantage helps Cork without a doubt.

Offaly will give Wexford lots of it and Cork/Dublin is a coin flip.

    :o

Fair enough, you got me there!

My optimism index has fallen considerably in the meantime. Dublin were as bad against Cats as Cork were against Tipp.

I would fancy Dublin to beat Cork in Parnell, but Cork play well in PUR and I don't think Dublin's confidence is too high after fall out from the Cats game and the various shennagains over tweets and 21s allegedly being not able to train with seniors, but who everyone knows will play in 21s final.

Only team in qualifiers I can see even remotely with a chance of being there in September are Clare and you wouldn't be putting your house on that!

Considering the only team they have beaten in almost 3 years Championship hurling is Offaly I wouldn't be investing as much as a dog house in that bet!

How Davy is still in a job is a mystery to me.

Offaly might beat wexford, as they have been unable to transition success at underage into the senior team for some reason yet
Dublin v Cork is a toss up
Clare will beat laois by a cricket score as they are the most heartless team in the Liam McCarthy
Limerick should beat westmeath by 14-16 points at least

draw for round 2 takes place on Mon 4th July at 8.30am on RTE radio 1

    if the teams are
    Wexford
    Limerick
    Clare or Laois
    Dublin

Wexford and Dublin cant play each other again so it will be

    Dublin vs Limerick/Clare or Laois
    Wexford vs Limerick/Clare or Laois

If Cork beat Dublin than it will be an open draw.

Prob be a double header in Semple Stadium Thurles next Sat 9th July 5pm & 7pm.

cork due to play Limerick in football next weekend so if they are drawn together in the hurling hopefully it will be a double header

Triple header in The Gaelic Grounds or Thurles if

    Cork vs Limerick- Football 3pm
    Clare vs Wexford- Hurling 5pm
    Cork vs Limerick- Hurling 7pm

Clare would not object to playing in Limerick but its a trek for the Wexford supporters

And so there are now only four with two more to follow.

    Limerick.
    Cork
    Clare
    Wexford

Can't see a repeat of last year and 2012 as Clare will be too strong for Limerick this time round. Clare badly need a big win

Wexford will hold no fear of Cork but hard to judge both teams as there opponents at the weekend were well below par . Wexford to shade it in ET

Is there any idea when the dates/times/locations are announced?

Cork and Limerick footballers out next weekend too so I'd imagine they are trying to include that in any decision.

Has it been said who the winners of these games will be playing or will there be a draw for it?

depends who wins, Galway would play Tipp and Waterford would play KK, but if both those teams lose then there would need to be a draw.
