MK4 Golf help

    I just bought a Mk4 Golf 1.4 petrol, and it didn't come with front fog lights. I've seen online front fog sets for "TDI/GTi" , just wondering would they do for mine? And would it be a hard job to wire them up? Thanks

    Mk 4 golf fog lights are in the headlight.

    I have a GTI they are in the headlight, I have lower grill fogs which were not original. A friend has a 1.4 golf that has the fogs in the headlight also.

    Sorry, I should have specified. I was on about the lower grille fogs. Would the ones you fitted on your GTI also fit mine? Non-original ones?

    The lower ones are not original to the golf they didn't come on them. You can buy them on eBay and fit handy enough. Get ones which have the loom and it's a straightforward installation.

    Yeah I saw them online but they were for "TDI/GTI". That's why I wanted to know if they would fit mine. Thanks

    As long as it is a mk4 golf they will fit. The letters don't really matter regarding stuff like that.
