I just saw this and it got me a bit puzzled: http://www.theverge.com/2016/6/17/11965674/apple-ios-rifle-handgun-emoji-removed-unicode

So the US is a country where there is no problem buying an actual rifle at the local Walmart, but where political correctness and large corporations have the power to decide for you that you shouldn't have an Olympic competition rifle emoji on your phone.

Am I the only one thinking American society is completely mess-up here and that there is zero issue with having a rifle emoji in a set dedicated to Olympic disciplines? (and that they should of course rather focus their real world issue with gunshots which are not caused by emojis but by real guns).
