Who do you reckon is the best radio presenter in Ireland right now? We are lucky you have really good radio in Ireland and some excellent presenters and DJs.

I could listen to John Creedon all day. He has a perfect radio voice and brilliant taste in music.

The whole Off the Ball team are also excellent and even if you are not a sports nut its a show anyone can listen to (example my wife).

Who do you think is really good?

I think ed smith on today FM is very good. I mean on his own show not the fergal darcy show.

And like others have said the man, the myth, the legend that is corks own John creedon.

John Creedon, Greg Gaughran, Tom Dunne, Debbie Allen

I'll add a +1 for Tom Dunne. He's so easy to listen to and plays some great music. I think he's wasted on NewsTalk. Although I did enjoy his mid-morning show (I still have my Tom Dunne Loyalty Card :pac:), I think it was a mistake for him to leave Today FM.

In my opinion this topic should be split into 2. Best talk presenter and best music presenter.

    This too shall pass.

If it was 6 years ago, I'd unreservedly put him in this category.

For light entertainment and a good mix of music, Ray Foley is the best for me. Wish he'd come back to radio already. :(

I think I mentioned it previously, but Carol Moran is playing a blinder on the weekend mornings.
If I had any say in things she would be the next John Creedon, Ronan Collins (yeah, I know some don't like him but you can't fault his music knowledge) etc.
Cathal is grand music wise but he just doesn't have the personality for the audience he is playing for.

Yea, he doesn't seem to be very popular around here but I gotta admit, that voice does rub off on you.

I like Aedín Gormley and Carl Corcoran on Lyric.
Rarely get to hear John Creedon but think he's great too.

Sean O'Rourke is still excellent at current affairs.
