I working on the assumption that the larger one is for an adult with a larger head ? lol
    Right ?

My current MET helmet is 54-57 medium - so I went for the 52-58 size.
    I'm an adult btw :)

Check your current helmet size go by that.

I picked up a Boardman Team Road 56-61.5 in Blanchardstown. Although not quite as good as the Pro Carbon its still a good deal at €30. Thanks to the OP.

Thanks for the feedback, but (if the linked is the correct one) the closest to be found is in Naas at the moment.

The 58-62cm is unavailable to reserve in any stores. Do Halfords have stock in stores that aren't reserable?

I bought the lower end one at full price last week. This is an excellent deal!

It wasn't available to reserve on the website but was available to buy in store. I just popped in for a look. They still had the full price shelf edge labels.

My wife picked up the ladies version (apparently it has some controversial black & pink strip decals) yesterday and went with Click & Collect on the halfords website to find a further €5 off. She really likes it and not just because she only paid €25 for it. It was originally priced at €60 according to a sticker on the box.

Drove 45 minutes to pick up the helmets in Blanchardstown. No stock despite the email confirmation yesterday. They tried to call when I was in Belfast apparently. According to the manager, it's never confirmed until you receive a call to say they have it. Ridiculous stuff. That's 2 bad dealings to a row with them. Don't suppose I have any comeback?

Called into the Galway store. Found a stack of the Pro Carbon helmets at €105. Asked if they are the ones for €30 on the website, they checked their system and the item number on the website offer is the old model.

No comeback I'm afraid. Had a similar issue where I reserved a bike toolkit in Drogheda and got a phone call on my way to pick it up a few hours later saying they had just sold the last one to another boardsie too bad

Came out in a taty box .. And helmet had visor already attached. But on close inspection... Visor studs were broken.

looked like ex-display.... Not happy and so left behind. Can't see how they could have been priced at €119.

Pro Carbon helmets showing as available to reserve in Carlow, Kilkenny, Cavan, Tralee and a few others.

    Nothing near Galway :-/

I have one reserved and got an order confirmation email. I have not received a call or email confirming that the order has been fulfilled and is ready for collection.

Ordered two from Carlow store, got confirmation email and text, called them to make sure they have it. Guess what, they don't have it, stock file error. Whoever ordered the helmets make sure the store has them in stock, save yourself a return disappointing journey. Bad experience with Halfords once again...they do not offer deliveries, they constantly have system glitches and the customer service is below average. Never again...
