Hope someone can help. My idle on my vw 2.0tdi is very low, diagnostics showing 790rpm, sometimes it feels like it's going to stall. It's always been low.
I want to increase idle to maybe 860 (factory setting is 903).
I have vag can commander 3.6, which I've used many times to read dtcs and adjust settings like torsion value etc.
Usually to diagnose it's basically the same procedure as vag com.
But to change adaption settings for idle has me stumped.
I can seem to get into adaption, but entering the channel (1) in motor (ecu), comes up with a "negative error".
Anybody use this software can help?
