I'll start with people sticking their nose in the planning when it's not wanted. Do they think they are helping?

Also the people who think ulyou need to stick to tradition as if it's law.

I have loads more I just want to see if anybody else is feeling the same as I would.

I'd be interested to hear how other grooms are getting on with the planning.

All the 'you have to do this' and 'you cant do that' comments drove me mad. Tell them to F off and do as you like :)

Mileage may vary on that one. I had a close friend getting married, fiance wanted to out a 20k loan as it as she wanted her dream wedding and it was a "one off day". Average jobs, heavy mortgage.

Are we being friends there by not trying to get them back to reality?

Oh wow and I thought my mom is annoying with speaking against the dress I like because it's actually 33 $.

I found the opposite, people were encouraging us to do more and more. Common sense goes a long way in these situations.
