Artificial wedding flowers

    Hi girls!

I'm getting married on NYE and I've decided to go with artificial flowers for a couple of reasons:

1- I don't want to be limited by the flowers in season
2- a number of friends have said their biggest wedding regret is how much they spent on flowers 2-3k and the flowers lasted for a day or two.

I want to buy artificial and do them myself- any recommendations on where to buy realistic flowers that are good value?

    Xx

No, I don't like the crochet bouquets. I wants as natural as possible- my reception venue will be dimly lit and it will be evening before guests are seated in the room so I'm looking for the wow factor with volume of flowers

you can have natural flowers without spending anything on them!

I spent precisely zilch on mine. MIL did 2 bouquets and 2 buttonholes. and they were lovely too.

Places like Avoca have lovely and very convincing artificial flowers, but my only worry would be that really good fake flowers are also going to be very expensive - cheaper ones may be less convincing. Yes you'd have something to keep, but I'm not sure what I'd do with that many fake flowers after the wedding is over.

I'm using artificial flowers for my wedding and I got them from central floral supplies in cork - I used their online website, placed my order and then talked to them on the phone, they were delivered to me within about 2-3 working days and are fab looking! If you are buying loads or are unsure of what flower type, do what I did and order one as a sample first :)
