I don't know but sky news reported that police believed the suspect to be a somalian male. Thats all they said about it.
Maybe he was already known to authorities or something.

You can tell Somalis to look at them in fairness, they have a very distinctive appearance and language. Some reports saying there's three of them, others saying its one employee on a rampage.

I doubt you could tell a Somali from a Djiboutian, an Eritrean or an Ethiopian.

Heard on Pat Kenny this morning that Incredibly there is a mass shooting (of four or more people) very day in the states,don't even make the news they are so common.The odd terrorist attack, as despicable as they are seem in all fairness the very least of their problems.

I don't want to sound like an anorak but I could as I generally encounter people from both groups on a regular basis. Eritrean and Ethiopian I couldn't, likewise Djibouti and Somali but you can always tell the difference between the Somalis and Ethiopians. They look, talk and dress completely differently and there's the obvious Islamic factor as well most of the time.

Ive met eritreans and I think they stand out as looking very different to any other africans Ive ever seen.
You're right about the rest though, they just have a horn of africa look they share though which is still very distinct.
