    Hi people,

I'm about to partake in some train driver apptitute tests, and was hoping to get some advice from anyone who has been down that track. (Hah!...)

I'm specifically interested in anyone with any experience of the Group Bourdon test, how did you fare out with it? I've just been doing a few practice sessions, but am curious to know what the pass mark for this test is like?

Thanks for any information you can give.

Why don't you ask your fellow Irish Rail staff how they fared? Far better to get an answer from them then off laymen.

Cheers. But I don't work for Irish Rail, nor do I know anyone who has ever went for a job as a train driver. I'm reaching out to the broader audience here.

It was my understanding that Irish Rail only recruits drivers from within the organisation or has this changed?

Sorry Lads, I should have specified. I am not going for a job with Irish Rail, but the company I am going with still carry out the same kind of assesment tests.

I am doing an apptitude test for a company called Transperth Trains, in Australia.
