Jobseeker backpayments

    Hi,

I applied for Jobseekers in April, and originally it was denied as it was deemed that I hadn't left my job for a valid reason. I appealed with further proof of why I quit, and my claim was approved from the day I originally applied. I got my first payment today, of 188 euro. Normally, how is the backpayment issued? It isn't very clear how it works.

I went to my local Intreo office today to ask when I should expect the backpayment of my Jobseekers. I had been sent a letter that says I will be paid from the 20th of April. When I went in today, they told me that it will be from May 30th, and printed me a copy of a letter I never received where it says that. They also said the letter stating April 20th was an automated one, and to discard it.

Do I have grounds to appeal based on this?
