What to do Going from part time to full time

    Hi all, I am working part time 3 days for 1 year and on JSA now, my employer looking to give me more working hours and full time with no contract and insane rate, what can I do to keep my employer happy and don't lose my jsa? Can I get FIS if in full time contract? Can I refuse to move to full time as there is no new contract for me? Can I leave this job and claim jsa only ?

    You can't work full time and claim JSA. FIS is means tested so we can't answer that question and if you quit the job there will be an exclusion period before you can claim JSA again.

    Why don't you want a full time job?

    Define "insane rates", Are we talking below minimum wage rates?

    Hi Thanks for your reply Surely I would like to work full time I only guess is this could be a reason they wanted me to leave the job. Because he does not want to renew my part time contract and wanted me to do full time work with no contract
