I'm sale agreed on a house. The vendor has to get a bank consent to sale letter from his bank. How long does it take for his bank to issue this consent and are banks generally OK about issuing a bank consent to sell letter?

    Hi allabella,

Thank you for contacting us here on Boards.

We have checked on this for you and have been advised that generally this letter would only take a couple of days, however we would advise you to contact your solicitor who will engage with the vendor’s solicitor for further clarity.

Best of luck with your new home and if there is anything else we can help you with please let us know.

    Have a good day.

    Helen
