    My brother is getting married in Melbourne next summer , my parents are going over and are looking at some where to rent on a short term basis(3 months) . Can anyone here direct me to the right place

    Airbnb is probably your best bet, are they coming for Australian summer or Irish summer, huge difference in prices and availability depending on when your coming.

    I'm also looking for 3 month accomm in Melbourne from mid November to February. Had a look at AirBnb but nothing too promising, any other suggestions?

    I used below for couple of months when we first arrived in Melbourne. Had some good locations for reasonable prices around South Yarra/Richmond back then but was 6+ years ago:

    We stayed here when we first moved to Melbourne. Brilliant location, walking distance to the CBD and close to Brunswick street and Smith street. Its very much like a boutique hotel and there is a fully kitted out shared kitchen and BBQ area.
