I have to move my charge point and was looking at post type replacement options and found PluglessPower 3.3kW unit which is a retro fit on a number of cars for about $1,500 , €1,300

Has anyone looked into this in detail?
€800 extra over a hardwired charge point but seems very convenient!

Can't seem to see them for sale in Europe though.

    Thanks

    Nowhere in europe installs them.

They also require you to be very precise in parking, they provide an app to help guide you parking but it's still a hassle. The Nissan Leaf version only delivers 3.3kW and there is no upgrade path to higher power. The transmitting side and receiving side are model specific so when you buy another EV in a few years you'll have to rip it all out and start again. And of course you lose 10-20% to parasitic losses over a conductive cable, worse if the coils are not aligned perfectly.
