Hey just wondering if anybody has done intern year in Connolly?? just wondered how they found it, what call was like, hours and teaching etc. and any other info would be great to know about! thanks

Many years ago, yes. I also did several SHO jobs there. Lovely hospital, very good vibe, culture of staff all pitching in and helping out. Nurses well trained and enthusiastic, no nonsense about doctors doing first dose antibiotics, ECGs etc. HR a bit nightmarish but no more so than anywhere else and if you stand your ground with them you often get somewhere. Last time I worked there interns did 13 hour call I think.

That was a few years back but I can't imagine it's changed all that much.
