tbh, a bit of a trivial matter, but felt like a little rant.

i work in a reasonably well paid retail job with a bit of responsibility but nothing major. i get on fairly well with the boss, and always have done.

yesterday he lit up on me, in front of other staff members for such a ridiculous reason, it's beyond laughable. he also tried to make me out to be a liar, which is a big no-no. and when he doesn't get the answer he wants to hear, he tries to make little of me (or whoever), and try and make them feel and sound stupid.

so today, we all got the silent treatment from him for most of the day. i didn't care-it actually suited me. the only time he did speak was to try and start a row about something else. didnt work though ;)

but was thinking, is it a power thing? maybe it's just the easy way of venting frustrations? i don't know, but i don't think employees should be made scapegoats for other sh1t that's going on with them.

    crap rant over :D
