Hi Dinny, the Satellite forum would be a better fit for your question. I'll move it there now.

I have the exact same TV

I had to ring LG to get the answer when I set up Saorview / Freesat

If you want both Saorview and Freesat with 7 day EPG, Series Link etc you need to set the Country to UK from the initial set up. Irish channels will end up in the 800's but you can re-edit them to 1 - 11 if you wish

To flick between the 2 services, go to Settings / Advanced / Programmes and then Programme Tuning / Programme Mode and change this to Satellite to view those channels

Then to save doing this each time you want to flick between Saorview and Freesat... Press the Home button while watching BBC One HD for example go across to My Programmes, and click on Add.

And then go back in the Programme Tunning setting and select Antenna and while watching RTE One, add that to My Programmes. Both BBC One and RTE One should be on your Home button then

PM me your mobile number if you want me to talk you through it
