Unlimited mobile broadband?

We currently have 3 mobile broadband on the 60gb package deal. We are nearly using that all within a month, constantly checking it. It's not a comfortable wifi usage considering I like to stream a lot of stuff online. Today we were supposed to get Vodafone unlimited broadband which I was very excited for but when they came they checked it and they couldn't get a connection, we are too far from the closet one. This is after Vodafone spent several days 'checking' to see if we could get a connection.
Anyways now I'm on the search to get a different mobile broadband. One that is around €40 a month and has more than 60gb of data. The 3 is also getting very slow lately and the dongle keeps turning itself off. It's so slow Netflix is buffering and that never happens. Lol. We can't get a telephone connection so we can't use a router. What's the best plan then?

The reason Three is getting slow is because they are using a *mobile* network to flog broadband with huge caps like 60GB/month. This is a finite resource and they are reefing it on the sales side.

Vodafone 4G is stunning in terms of quality. Sometimes when I turn off wifi for a test or something, I forget to turn it back on because I literally can't tell the difference between VF 4G and wifi. I am on a business plan. I understand that their consumer mobile broadband limits are extremely low - guess what, that's what makes it the best business 4G network. They don't want the high-usage customers.

Three on the other hand is disastrous around where I live and work. As in, it won't load a web page, refresh Gmail, most of the time. But you'll get 20M on an Ookla speedtest. Traffic shaped to hell.

Also I was told Three are shutting down 85% of the O2 sites, so it's just going to get worse and worse. Especially if they keep selling high-cap data bundles.

If Imagine fiberconnect is coming to your area, get that. If not, move.

You can use a Three PAYG sim for €20/mo but don't expect the speeds to go anywhere but down.
