Trying to setup wds between two Eircom T1000 modems.

Default wireless security of wpa2 is set.

On the secondary modem i have disabled dhcp and changed its lan address to .250 so its not the same as the primary's default of .254

When i try scan on wds i cannot get either of the modems to see each other. Yet they will see my neighbour's sky, vodafone and eircom routers. Both my routers are in ap mode on the wds screen

Also wondering, which router should be scanning and selecting the other or does it matter?

Goodlad hasn't been so good, posting the same thread in multiple places is a no no.

And they're D1000s not T1000s("I'll be back"). And from memory they'll only work as WDS hubs not APs. You're probably better off with a set of homeplugs.

FYI - i report my other thread and asked for it to be delete the day i post it. So goodlad has been good :P

Whats this home plug thing? Just a repeater?
