Driving ban question

I'm coming to the end of a driving ban. On conviction I know there is a grace period of 14 days to tie up loose ends or lodge and appeal. I appealed it and although time was reduced a ban was upheld.

On leaving the court I asked the gard when it became active which he said immediately. As you don't get the "grace period" on the ban being upheld on appeal. the guard was part of the traffic unit so I would like to assume he knows what he's talking about.

I was on to a clerical staff member in the courthouse to see about the return of my licence but there saying there's an extra 14 days on the back end.

Would anyone have any idea on the matter or know a good place your look up the black and white on it.
    Thanks

If you are coming to the end of the period of your disqualification from driving and if you want to know when the period of disqualification ends, you should look at the court order. If you don't have a copy of the order, you should be able to get it from the court.

I don't think that any further detail can be given here, without entering the realm of legal advice.
