Looking to source one of these... I have a 1992 custom built Raparee steel frame with full Dura Ace group set.... teeth on 52/42 are worn and slipping badly on drags / climbs. Had a fall on Sat last when chain slipped and jammed, bad burns, sore hip, groin... luckily helmet took the sting out of head impact and nothing broken bar my pride..:)

53 there.. look out for a 42 chainring or 39.. should fit... instead of changing the whole crankset.... ??

Thanks for the advice about just getting the chainring. Picked up the 52t from USA and just purchased 42t from UK today. Hopefully have it back on the road next weekend. Total new chainring set up, new chain and block. New cables and brake pads.

This bike had been parked up for almost 2 years now as i really got back into the cycling and bought lighter bikes, 2 summer and 2 winter. Had a look look at it 2 weekend's ago and there's a bit of seizure going on with cables, front , rere derailer , and also brakes, really annoyed that i let it happen, going to see of i can free them up, but i am very mechanically challenged :)
    All tips appreciated
